Trevor F. Cameron – Family, Safety, and Structured Growth for the City of Airdrie

About Trevor

My name is Trevor Cameron, and I want the chance to represent the residents of Airdrie, Alberta as a member of City Council.  I have fallen in love with this city since I moved here three years ago, and have found it to be the perfect place to raise my family.  I feel that I am the right person to help lead this great city through the years to come to ensure that it remains the preferred place for Albertans to call home.

One of my key focuses if elected to Council will be to ensure that family services are improved, especially for low and single income families.  As a father of two young children I know how challenging it can be to find affordable options for families.  I also will be fighting for more schools here in Airdrie as the current situation cannot continue.  Students in classes of 50+ being taught in gymnasiums is unacceptable!

Safety is also a big concern for me.  We moved away from NE Calgary because I was no longer comfortable leaving my wife and children alone at home.  Emergency services need to be kept at the forefront to ensure this community remains safe.  With so many families calling Airdrie home attacking crime head on is imperative.  There are many initiatives in our city helping with this such as Citizens on Patrol, Youth Justice Committee, and Safe Airdrie.  As an Alderman I will support them in any way that I can.

I encourage anyone attempting to find out who I am to listen to the podcasts that I have released.  They can be accessed on the front page or through iTunes and are only a few minutes long each.  Or if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact me at trevorfcameron@gmail.com
